For this edition of Frieze Seoul, Almine Rech proudly presents a dynamic group presentation, highlighting prominent Korean artists Ha Chong-Hyun, Kim Tschang-Yeul, Kim Yong-Ik, Minjung Kim, and Youngju Joung. Our curated showcase celebrates a rich tapestry of artistic voices, seamlessly weaving together iconic figures such as Allen Jones, Keith Haring, Ed Ruscha, and Heinz Mack with contemporary talents like Roby Dwi Antono, Oliver Beer, Szabolcs Bozó, Javier Calleja, Brian Calvin, Ryoji Ikeda, José Lerma, John McAllister, Li Qing, Marc Quinn, Gert & Uwe Tobias, Brent Wadden, and Zio Ziegler. 

Each artist brings a unique perspective and distinctive formal language, pushing the boundaries of contemporary and modern art. Through a captivating interplay of abstraction and figuration across various mediums—ranging from paintings to works on paper and sculptures—our presentation will offer a nuanced reflection of the gallery’s diverse program.
