For the 2024 edition of Art Basel Miami Beach, Almine Rech is pleased to present an exhibition featuring selected works by the gallery’s represented artists and estates. The presentation illustrates the global breadth of the program and explores the cross-generational conversations that emerge between works of the 20th and 21st century.

The booth will showcase a vibrant selection of new works by artists Miquel Barceló, Joël Andrianomearisoa, Ali Cherri, and Mehdi Ghadyanloo. These artists, who come from different corners of the Global South, join forces in Abu Dhabi, showcasing our program’s diversity.

On the occasion of FAB Paris, Almine Rech is pleased to present significant works by the Estates of Russian-born French modernist painter Serge Poliakoff (1900–1969), the prominent figure of lyrical abstraction within the New School of Paris Jean Miotte (1926-2016) and one of the greatest Korean painters Kim Tschang-Yeul (1929-2021).
In addition, the booth will feature a dynamic group presentation, including works by Ha Chong-Hyun, Ali Cherri, Johan Creten, and Alexandre Lenoir. Each artist offers a unique perspective and distinctive formal language, pushing the boundaries of modern and contemporary art.

For this edition of Art 021, Almine Rech is pleased to present an intergenerational group exhibition, featuring works by a diverse range of established, mid-career, and emerging artists. Pushing the boundaries between figuration and abstraction, the exhibition showcases innovative approaches in painting, sculpture, and mixed media. Each artist brings a unique socio-cultural perspective, contributing to an exploration of how recognizable forms intersect with abstraction. This curated selection underscores the gallery’s ongoing commitment to promoting intercultural dialogue and expanding the discourse around contemporary art.

For this edition of West Bund Art & Design, Almine Rech is pleased to present significant works by the renowned 20th-century American artist Tom Wesselmann (1931-2004). A pivotal figure in the American Pop Art movement of the 1960s, Wesselmann set aside abstract expressionism to embrace classical representations. His art, particularly in nudes, still lifes, and landscapes, carved out a unique niche with its integration of collage elements and assemblages. 

In addition to Tom Wesselman’s works, our booth will also feature a dynamic group presentation, including works by Farah Atassi, John Giorno, Peter Halley, Alex Israel, Allen Jones, Jeff Koons, Richard Prince, Li Qing, Kenny Scharf, Keiichi Tanaami and Hajime Sorayama. Each artist offers a unique perspective and distinctive formal language, pushing the boundaries of modern and contemporary art.

On the occasion of The Art Show, Almine Rech will showcase a rare selection of bon à tirer engravings by Pablo Picasso. These etchings are each unique works annotated by hand, by the artist, and signed "Bon à Tirer." They were created while working with the renowned Crommelynck printers. This exhibition offers significant insight into Picasso's mastery of the printmaking medium.
