Almine Rech is honored to announce an exclusive collaboration with the Consejo Leonora Carrington in France in partnership with rossogranada

The gallery will collaborate with rossogranada, the exclusive representative of  the Consejo Leonora Carrington, whose mission is to preserve and promote the work of the internationally renowned artist.

Lifecast bronze sculptures by Carrington from 2010 will be showcased at Art Basel, Switzerland, this June. This inaugural presentation will be followed by a solo exhibition of the artist's work at Almine Rech Paris, Turenne, in September.


Leonora Carrington OBE (1917–2011) was a surrealist painter, sculptor, and novelist of British descent, who lived the majority of her life in Mexico. Credited as a pioneering feminist artist of the Surrealist movement, Carrington's work centres around the supernatural, the occult, nature, and autobiographical references.
