Almine Rech & Almine Rech Editions are pleased to announce the launch of the new catalogue 'Picasso: Still Life', published in collaboration with the Fundación Almine y Bernard Ruiz-Picasso.
To celebrate the occasion, the curators and founders of Castille Art Research, Ross Finocchio and Delphine Huisinga, will join the public for the launch.
The still life occupied a central place in Pablo Picasso's oeuvre. Throughout his career, he returned to the domestic and the familiar: unassuming subjects that gave rise to some of his most audacious and groundbreaking work. In 2025, 'Picasso: Still Life' at Almine Rech New York brought together more than forty works from the artist's personal collection. Spanning over five decades, with several presented publicly for the first time, the paintings, drawings, prints, ceramics, and sculptures attest to Picasso's profound and lifelong engagement with the genre.
