Artist Talk: Laurie Simmons

Almine Rech is pleased to announce that photographer and visual artist Laurie Simmons will join Drew Sawyer, Sondra Gilman Curator of Photography at the Whitney Museum of American Art and co-curator of the 2026 Whitney Biennial, for a dynamic conversation tracing the evolution of her practice and the ideas driving her work today. Reflecting on their past collaboration, they consider how Simmons’ photography and film continue to challenge notions of identity, fantasy and the constructed image.
