Almine Rech is pleased to announce the opening of its new London address

Almine Rech is pleased to announce the opening of its new London address at 11 St. George Street in Mayfair, reaffirming its longstanding commitment to the UK art scene.

The new venue will showcase curated presentations of works by artists from the 20th and 21st centuries and will be open Tuesday through Friday, from 10am to 6pm, with Monday and Saturday visits available by appointment.

For more than a decade, Almine Rech has been active in the UK, contributing to London’s vibrant cultural landscape through solo and group exhibitions that connect modern masters with leading contemporary voices.

Founded in Paris with James Turrell as its first represented artist, Almine Rech quickly established itself as a destination for rigorous and independent programming. Over the years, its steady international expansion — with spaces in Brussels (2008), London (2014), New York (2016, 2023), Shanghai (2019), and Monaco (2023) — has reinforced its global identity.

Today, Almine Rech’s program spans several generations of artists. Established figures such as James Turrell, Jeff Koons, Ha Chong-Hyun, Joseph Kosuth, and Larry Poons share the roster with major 20th-century artists including Pablo Picasso, Tom Wesselmann, Karel Appel, Günther Förg, and Heinz Mack. A new generation of artists such as Claire Tabouret, Nathaniel Mary Quinn, Chloe Wise, Oliver Beer, Ewa Juszkiewicz, Laurie Simmons, Ali Cherri, Joël Andrianomearisoa, and Johan Creten continue to expand the gallery’s dialogue across painting, sculpture, film, and installation.
