Recent Museum Acquisition

Almine Rech is pleased to announce that Turi Simeti’s work Distruzione di un aliante, from 1971, is now part of the collection of the MAMbo, Bologna, Italy.

Distruzione di un aliante, 1971 consists of ten metal containers sealed and painted in blue enamel. In the installation at the MAMbo it is accompanied by a series of photographs of the performance that took place in 1971 at the galleria La Bertesca in Genoa. It will be visible in the new display of the permanent collection opening on 4 February 2026.
