Photo: Nathan ThelenClaire Tabouret's exhibition ‘D’un seul souffle’ opens to the public on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at the Grand Palais in Paris. The exhibition presents the preparatory works, life-size models, and sketches for the six stained-glass windows the artist created for Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris.
The artist, in association with Atelier Simon-Marq, is the winner of the competition organized by the French Ministry of Culture to design the windows for Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris. Almine Rech is proud to have been at the initiative of the project with the artist.
Claire Tabouret's proposal was selected at the end of the second phase of the competition launched by the Ministry of Culture in March 2024. The choice was made by an artistic committee composed of 20 members (heritage conservators, artists, members of the Paris diocese, representatives of the public establishment overseeing the reconstruction site, and members of the Ministry of Culture) and presided over by Bernard Blistène, former director of the Musée national d’art moderne.
