Almine Rech is pleased to announce that Inès Longevial collaborates with Dior for its 10th Edition of Dior Lady Art.

Revealing a colorful palette enhanced by captivating contrasts and seemingly frozen in time, the portraits painted by French artist Inès Longevial express the artist’s intimate injunction: “to make the face speak.” Her faces become landscapes shaped by light and crossed by shadows, inviting viewers to explore the realm of sensations.
A kaleidoscope of emotions comes to life across three Lady Dior bags — each one unique and breathtaking.
The first reveals, against a background embroidered with multidirectional threads, one of her iconic drawings: a blue woman’s face whose gaze seems to invite a look inside the bag.
The second model, topped with a crown of feathers, showcases a patchwork of fabrics featuring twenty of her most emblematic works, while the third — in a mini version — reimagines this design in an all-over embroidery. All three play with charms and Monsieur Dior’s lucky star: the bag’s feet take the shape of this marvelous celestial symbol, the lining transforms into a starry sky; every detail is conceived with poetic harmony.
