Portrait of Claire Tabouret
Courtesy of the Artist and Almine Rech - Photo: Mathew ScottClaire Tabouret's creations unfold a sensitive and bewitching universe. A major part of her work depicts people, identified or unknown, as individuals or in groups. With subtlety, her works embody identities that are fragile, rebellious, sometimes slightly disquieting, fluid as water. Combining mood and body language, these portraits concentrate their power in the gaze, turned towards the viewer, sparking an unsettling encounter.
On Saturday 14 June at 3pm, the Musée des beaux-arts invites you to meet the artist Claire Tabouret, on the opening day of her exhibition. The interview will be conducted by Claire Lignereux, curator of the exhibition, and there will also be time for questions from the public.
