Sanlorenzo Arts unveils Casa Sanlorenzo in Venice, a new space dedicated to cultural and artistic research, designed to foster dialogue between art, design and society. Located opposite the Basilica of Santa Maria della Salute, Casa Sanlorenzo stems from the Maison’s vision to play an active cultural role, extending beyond yacht building to engage with contemporary thought. Conceived as a living and evolving laboratory, Casa Sanlorenzo is a place of experimentation where creativity, innovation and critical thinking converge. A space where art becomes a tool for reflection and beauty conveys values and ethics, fully embodying Sanlorenzo’s identity and long-term vision.
‘Waves’ is a group exhibition at Casa Sanlorenzo, curated by Sergio Risaliti, Artistic Director of Museo Novecento in Florence, and Cristiano Seganfreddo, with the scientific support of Ersilia Vaudo Scarpetta. The installation will showcase the work of masters of modern art and sculpture such as Alexander Calder, Fausto Melotti, Lucio Fontana and Tony Cragg, alongside emerging contemporary artists including Christine Safa, and visual artists Friederich Andreoni and Marcello Maloberti.
