The Living Room

'The Living Room', an encounter with the young French contemporary art scene, presents a selection of emblematic pieces from the Reiffers Initiatives collection drawn from past exhibitions, as well as previously unseen works recently acquired. Since its creation by Paul-Emmanuel Reiffers in 2021, Reiffers Initiatives has supported the emerging art scene and cultural diversity. Its annual program—structured around a mentorship exhibition, an award, and the permanent exhibitions of its collection—has contributed to the emergence of an exceptional new generation.

“For this second exhibition of the Reiffers Initiatives endowment fund collection, we have brought together the work of nine young artists who have made a strong impact in recent years: Han Bing, Clédia Fourniau, Clémence Gbonon, Dhewadi Hadjab, Leelee Kimmel, Wynnie Mynerva, Anhar Salem, Pol Taburet, and Nanténé Traoré.

The exhibition, 'The Living Room', invites visitors to discover their works in the spirit of a private collector’s salon. Viewers are encouraged to take a seat, sit or lie down, and allow themselves to be carried through the multiplicity of realities that coexist despite a world that tends to separate them. Within this space—alive, as the title suggests—singular visions coexist, illustrating the richness of perspectives of this new generation of contemporary artists.”
