The Center for Archiving and Promotion of Performing Art, together with the Experimental Museum of Contemporary Art in L'Aquila and the Museum of the Abruzzo People of Pescara is pleased to present an exhibition dedicated to Jannis Kounellis, one of the greatest protagonists of Poor art. Fourteen photographs by Claudio Abate, Mimmo Jodice and Werner Kruger will be exhibited, which retrace the most intense moments of the ten years of exhibitions created by Jannis Kounellis in the Lucio Amelio gallery in Naples and which make up the folder A captain of fifteen years: extraordinary journeys by Jules Verne (Rome, 1980, printing studio). The collection, owned by MUSPAC, was exhibited for the first time in 1989 at the headquarters of the Multimedia Center "Quarto di Santa Giusta" in L'Aquila, on the occasion of the exhibition Bianco / Nero-Freddo / Caldo. the fourteen photos in the Adriatic capital is to bring to mind the solo show that the Greek artist held in Pescara in October 1975 in the Mario Pieroni gallery at the Bourbon Bath Foundation, the current seat of the Museo delle Genti, which on the occasion of the Contemporary ideally returns to its original function. The exhibition, organized by CAPPA, is curated by Ivan D’Alberto and Sibilla Panerai, and was made possible thanks to the contribution of Enrico and Martina Sconci, president and artistic director of MUSPAC, and Roberto Marzetti, president of the Museo delle Genti.
